By Sonic the Hedgehog is near and dear to me, so much so that my first tattoo was of the Sonic Team logo. It’s definitely been a whirlwind of highs and lows since the good old Sega Genesis days, unfortunately. However, beyond the real of gaming and comics exists this fan film.
Directed by Eddie Lebron, the fan film will run at a short 10-20 minutes. It will consist of a live-action/CGI mix. However, one of the main selling points for the project is the casting of the original Sonic the Hedgehog voice actor, Jaleel White, for the main role. Sonic fans from the early 90’s should definitely be excited over this news.
The film is a not for profit project with various donation levels, so if you feel like putting some money down and supporting a promising fan film, check the trailer out on the film’s site, and give them all of your money.
