I’m a sucker for anything Martin Freeman does. First seeing him on the UK version of The Office, then later in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, I instantly built a man-crush on the guy. Then, more recently, his portrayal of Dr. Watson on Steven Moffat’s absolutely brilliant Sherlock did nothing but confirm my man-crush on the wee Brit.
Naturally, I’m going to go see Swinging With the Finkels for the Freeman-factor alone. But what’ll keep me in the theatre is what looks to be a very charming look at reigniting a marriage that has gotten stale over the years. And besides, any movie with Jerry Stiller in it has to be decent, right?
