In Luc Besson’s The Family, Robert DeNiro returns to one of his best forms – a mobster trying to stay out of trouble, and failing. The movie centers around DeNiro’s character and his tough-as-nails family; his wife played by Michelle Pfeiffer, daughter played by Glee‘s Dianna Agron, and son played by John D’Leo.
The family gets into trouble when DeNiro’s character apparently snitches on his mob crew and his family ends up in the Witness Protection program, which sends them to live in France. Old habits die hard for the family though, and they have a lot of trouble adjusting to their crime-less lives. The Family looks like a lot of fun, and with a strong lineup of actors to boot!
