Trailer: The LEGO Movie

Morgan Freeman as a Godlike character, Chris Pratt as an everyday hero, Will Arnett as Batman, the Ninja Turtles, NBA All Stars, and Liam Neeson all in the same movie? Yes, the dreams you didn’t even knew you had are coming true. The first teaser trailer for The LEGO Movie is short, but shows a great deal of promise. It’s charming (thanks to Chris Pratt’s delivery), it’s animation is reminiscent of playing with my LEGO sets, and thanks to all of the licenses, expect lots of characters to team up that you’d never get anywhere else. It’s also directed by the same folks who directed Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street, two surprising successes. I’m hoping the quality remains intact. The LEGO Movie bricks into theaters February 7th next year, but it needs to show up much sooner.
