I get less and less excited about The Wolverine as we get closer to release. It was already the summer superhero film I was least looking forward to, but the trailers just aren’t exciting me. This new one digs a bitter deeper into what’s going on in Logan’s psyche and personal life with a Jean Grey cameo, but that just reminds me of how bad Last Stand was.
The fighting looks decent, but there’s not enough here to fully judge. Aside from the that the story line as represented here is pretty bland. Hopefully it fills out a bit more. At least the claws don’t look horribly fake, right?
