Warm Bodies is an upcoming adaptation of a novel written by Isaac Norton. It features “R” (Nicholas Hoult), whose character is totes a zombie, as he starts gaining the memories of the brains he eats. He eventually gains enough strength from those memories that his body starts coming back from his un-life. The awesome twist here is that “R” starts falling in love with the girlfriend of the guy whose brain “R” gets a memory from.
So…yeah. It’s a romantic comedy with zombies. Or a zombie romance with comedy in it. Or a comedy with zombies. Needless to say, it’s got my interest piqued. Warm Bodies releases February 1st next year.
