While a viral “propaganda” marketing campaign may not be the most original (Carrie, District 9 instantly come to mind as recent examples), I still like to see it. Three years after the events of the third film, Dark of the Moon, Transformers: Age of Extinction has the Autobots running from humanity due to the humans blaming them for all of the destruction in Chicago. Thus leading to these adorable posters labeling Transformers as “dangerous” (Well, duh).
One of the posters comes with a hilariously inept telephone number. I called the number before writing this post and all I got was a loud screeching noise followed by a brief “report all Transformer sightings and visit our website” message. At least the posters are nice. Transformers: Age of Extinction rolls out June 27th.
