By I’m gonna come right out and say it: This is the best goddamn poster anyone has ever made. Not only does it encompass a creative anthology of a small group of filmmakers (Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright), but it literally EXPLODES with enthusiastic appreciation for the movies it represents. I love the idea of it and I love the execution (double entendre?).
Alex Pardee is the creative mastermind here. He’s illustrated a “literally mind-blowing” poster for the upcoming Edgar Wright triple feature at the Castro Theater in San Francisco: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, the trifecta of awesomeness (I’d sell my spleen to attend).
