By Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is out in a couple of weeks, and I keep forgetting this movie exists. I know I’ve said this before, but it’s somehow still true. I even saw the 3D footage they’ve been playing at Disneyland the past couple weeks, which was a whole big production of a thing, and the movie still drops off my radar moments after watching. I guess you can say I’m not exactly enthused for the May 20th release date.
This footage, like the Disneyland preview stuff, is ok, but it’s really not terribly exciting for me. Are any of you out there still interested in Pirates of the Caribbean? I mean, the third one proved, to me at least, that the Jack Sparrow shtick has overstayed its welcome. Someone out there reading must still be interested. Let me know!
