By This is actually a feature from the Blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Pt.1 giving a little taste of the opening of Part 2. We get a minute of the filmmakers and producers patting themselves on the back over finishing out the series, then the good stuff. It’s a scene, near the beginning of the film, if not the opening sequence, where Harry speaks to Ollivander (John Hurt), the wand salesman from way back when, asking him about the Deathly Hallows. It’s actually some surprisingly effective stuff. If you couldn’t tell from the last movie, that Daniel Radcliffe has really come into his own as an actor over the last decade.
I still can’t believe the Harry Potter series is about to be over in both print and film. This has been a near-yearly event for some time now. It’s like being told the Bond movies are suddenly ending.
