Although little over a year ago Winona Ryder responded with a sigh and eye roll when asked about her possible involvement with the upcoming sequel to Beetlejuice, I suppose things have changed now that Tim Burton and Michael Keaton have returned to the project.
Talking with The Daily Beast, Ryder explained how happy she was that all three of them might be involved:
I’m kind of sworn to secrecy. But it sounds like it might be happening…It’s not a remake. It’s 27 years later. And I have to say, I love Lydia so much. She was such a huge part of me. I would be really interested in what she is doing 27 years later…I would never go near [a sequel] if it was not Tim and Michael. Because those guys, I love.
So, yeah she’s probably coming back given she’s currently interested in the project. But the question is, is it a good thing?
