Apparently, the adaptation of Max Brooks’ awesome World War Z is still happening. This is good news, since I’ve figured the project to be a smelly lifeless corpse by now. See what I did there?
Two new names have been attached to the project, according to Collider. LOST’s Matthew Fox, and the seminal Ed Harris have both signed on to star in the project. Also staring is Brad Pitt (who is the movie’s producer), and a bunch of other people I’ve never heard of. The bad news to all of this though? Paramount will be making this a PG-13 affair. Thanks for that, guys. Now we can all look forward to the inevitable unrated blu-ray to hit shelves after the pussified version has left theatres. [via Collider]
