Honestly the more and more I see of Wreck-It Ralph, the more I want to have its beautiful babies. Then Disney has the nerve to do something as charming as promote its fictional game Fix-It Felix Jr. as a “state-of-the-art” and “totally rad” arcade game from the 80s (along the same vein as Pixar’s Lots-O-Huggin’ Bear commercial a while back)? Like for serious you guys if Wreck-It Ralph turns out to be terrible despite all of its awesome allusions to gaming culture and actual (actual!) vidyagame characters, then I lose all faith in humanity and nerdom and will never get excited about anything ever again. Aww who am I kidding? I get excited about pretty much everything! [via YouTube] |
