By Fox has always had the worst luck with promoting its X-Men films. From X-Men to X-Men: First Class, they can never seem to put an adequate poster together. With Days of Future Past bringing the largest cast in the franchise, there are even more opportunities to look absolutely terrible.
My personal favorite of the worst is the poster with the two Magnetos and “HUGH JACKMAN” in big, bold letters toward the bottom. I realize he’s the franchise’s biggest star, but c’mon. I guess the best one would be the one of Wolvie breaking apart at the seams. Then you look over and see the one with the giant titles and there goes all of my good will. I’m hoping the actual film will be better thought out than this when it hits theaters May 23rd.
